Things I Found Around the Web

Hello - Well it's another HOT day here in Arizona 105 today. I'm just not ready for the summer yet. What happen to Spring? We didn't have a Spring this year, it just went straight from winter to summer. Well you just stay in to stay cool and stamp! I've been looking around the web and found some really cute ideas. I've listed below what I've found, they are really awesome. Thanks to everyone for your ideas and inspiration. Well you have a wonderful day, I know I will.

How cute is this box! I found this on Angie Juda's Chic N Scratch blog. She filmed a video on how to make the box and has directions on how to make the cute quilt. She has so many great tutorials, check out her blog.

How cute are these Mini Backpacks. These were made by Robin Hagy, I found her on Splitcoast Stampers. These are awesome Robin, you did a great job. I grabbed the tutorial on Splitcoast so I can make some of these. What a neat gift idea!

Mary Arima on Splitcoast Stampers made a great Tutorial on how to make these. You can find the tutorial here. I just love these, I know I'll be making alot of these.

This card was made by Kurtis Amundson, aka, Stampin' Kub or just The Kub as he calls himself. He is an awesome papercrafter. I love the simplicity in his card making. Check out Kurtis's Stampin' Kub blog for more of his beautiful creations.

Have a Great Day! I hope I brought some new ideas and inspiration to you.

More Mother's Day Cards

Cute little dress. Everyone is making those cute dresses out of the Big Shot Scallop Circle, well I don't have a big scallop circle yet I ordered it and should have it shortly so I can make them. They are so cute. Since I didn't have the big scallop circle, I used my scallop circle punch. They are smaller but work out the same. Just a little smaller to work with. This one I used Stampin Up DS Paper, Happy Everything stamp set, rose grosgrain ribbon, rose color brad, white 1/8" satin ribbon for the straps and the yellow background is some scrap yellow background paper I had - don't know where it's from. It might be from Michaels.

Here are some links to the original scallop circle dress. Going Over The Edge, Stampin & Scrapping with Debbie, Stampin Sharon has the step by step, Udderly Awesome, Inspiration In Action, Patty's Stamping Spot. Enjoy

Mother's Day

I've been working on some Mother's Day cards for the girls at my husbands work. One of the ladies always asks me for cards on special occasions or holidays. And so I make a bundle and take them in and then the other ladies go through them and pick out the ones they want also.

I got this idea from Splitcoast stampers gallery. I put a little bit of my own change to it.

Stamps: Bothway Blossoms (Stampin Up)
Cardstock: White, Green Swirl DP
Ink: Basic Black, Apricot Appeal
Accessories: Sponge, Blender Pen, Lemonade Grosgrain Ribbon

This card I cased from Splitcoast Stampers also, I just love that website, I get so many wonderful ideas and inspiration.

Stamps: Bothway Blossoms (Stampin Up)
Cardstock: White, Sage Shadow, Yellow DP
Ink: Apricot Appeal, Basic Black Pad, Black Marker
